Toyota updates Innova Zenix with remote smartphone connectivity

PT Toyota-Astra Motor (TAM) has introduced updated T Intouch connectivity features for the Kijang Innova Zenix Improvement 2026. The new 'Toyota Remote' technology allows owners to control various vehicle functions via a smartphone application, including starting the engine, adjusting air conditioning temperatures, and locking doors.

The update includes a 'Vehicle Status' feature that provides real-time information regarding the condition of doors, windows, the hood, and lights. Additionally, the 'Dashboard Status' displays multi-information data such as odometer readings, fuel levels, and average fuel consumption. The system also offers 'Trip History' and 'Statistical Driving Data' to track routes and driving duration.

For safety and assistance, the vehicle includes a 'Driver Monitor' and 'Proactive Agent Call,' a system designed to detect vehicle issues and provide assistance automatically. Other existing connectivity features include Find My Car, Geofencing, Stolen Vehicle Tracking, and a Remote Immobilizer. Toyota selected the Innova Zenix for this rollout due to its status as a widely used family vehicle in Indonesia.
