Toyota connectivity service launch in Indonesia

Overview

PT Toyota-Astra Motor (TAM) has introduced ‘T Intouch’ with ‘Toyota Remote’ connectivity services for the 2026 Kijang Innova Zenix Improvement in Indonesia.

The service enables vehicle owners to monitor and control various functions via a smartphone application. Key remote capabilities include starting the engine, adjusting air conditioning temperatures, and locking doors. The system provides real-time updates on vehicle status, such as the condition of doors, windows, the hood, and lights, alongside a dashboard for tracking odometer readings, fuel levels, and fuel consumption.

Safety and assistance features include a ‘Driver Monitor’ to track driver activity, ‘E-Care’ for vehicle condition reports, and an ‘In-Car SOS Button’ to connect with customer care. The rollout also includes ‘Proactive Agent Call’ to detect issues and provide automatic assistance, as well as ‘Find My Car’, ‘Geofencing’, ‘Stolen Vehicle Tracking’, and a ‘Remote Immobilizer’. Toyota selected the Innova Zenix for this implementation due to its popularity as a family vehicle in the region.
