Toyota upgrades Yaris Cross GR SPORT with larger display
Toyota Motor Corporation began selling an upgraded version of its compact SUV, the Yaris Cross GR SPORT, in Japan on 3 August 2026. The facelift adds a standard 10.5‑inch high‑definition infotainment display with connected‑navigation, as well as previously optional comforts such as front‑seat and steering‑wheel heaters and the Nanox X air‑purification system. Exterior tweaks include black‑accented door mirrors and a shark‑fin antenna, while the model retains its sport‑tuned suspension, 18‑inch alloy wheels and other performance‑focused components.
The changes focus on daily usability and cabin quality without altering the powertrain or chassis dynamics, aiming to broaden the appeal of the GR SPORT trim to customers who value both sporty character and enhanced convenience features.
