DR Congo football club TP Mazembe has announced a 22-man squad for their upcoming CAF Champions League preliminary round first-leg match against Ghana’s Medeama SC. The fixture is scheduled to take place on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at the TNA Stadium in Tarkwa.

TP Mazembe manager Slimane Raho has selected a squad featuring experienced goalkeepers Marc Diouf and Aliou Faty, alongside a mix of defensive, midfield, and attacking players. The club aims to secure a positive result in Ghana before the return leg in Kinshasa a week later.

TP Mazembe communications chief Jantis Mutombo stated that the team is prepared for the challenge and will not be intimidated by Medeama’s home advantage or the atmosphere at the stadium. Mutombo noted that the club’s experience playing in difficult venues across Africa will assist them in focusing on the pitch rather than the crowd.
