Trabzon butter ranks second in Taste Atlas world dairy list

The online culinary guide Taste Atlas has released its list of the world’s best dairy products, based on 2,370 valid votes from 3,389 evaluations.

Trabzon butter from Turkey secured second place with a score of 4.4. The product, originating from the Yakçukur region, is noted for its traditional production methods involving pasteurized cow milk cream and manual stirring with large wooden spoons.

Turkey also placed third on the list with Kaymak, which received the same score of 4.4. Irish butter took the top position with a score of 4.5. The top 10 list includes various international products such as Beurre d’Isigny from France and Devonshire clotted cream from the United Kingdom.
