Trabzonspor marks 59th anniversary with fan celebrations in Trabzon

Turkish football club Trabzonspor celebrated its 59th founding anniversary and the 50th anniversary of its first Süper Lig title with a series of fan‑focused events. In the city of Trabzon, thousands of supporters gathered at Ganita Beach, marching with torches, singing club anthems, performing traditional horon dances and watching fireworks. Club officials including President Zeyyat Kafkas, Technical Director Fatih Tekke and Divan Chairman Mahmut Ören took part in the ceremonies, and former players joined the crowds. Fans voiced their pride, with Şener Ofluoğlu declaring, "Trabzonspor tüm Türkiye'nin takımıdır" (Trabzonspor is the team of all Turkey).

A parallel celebration was held abroad at the club’s pre‑season camp in Schladming, Austria, where a specially prepared cake was cut and players and staff marked the milestone together. The dual‑location events highlighted the club’s deep connection with its supporters both at home and among the diaspora.
