Traffic accidents reported in Curitiba and Belo Horizonte

Two separate traffic incidents occurred in Brazil. In Curitiba, a rideshare driver collided with a Paraná Military Police (PMPR) vehicle in the Mercês neighborhood after failing to yield at an intersection. The police vehicle was traveling with its emergency lights activated at the time of the impact. No injuries were reported, though the PMPR intends to launch a technical inquiry to investigate the circumstances and determine responsibility.

In Belo Horizonte, a collision on Avenida Tereza Cristina in the Barreiro region resulted in a pedestrian being struck. Security footage shows a car colliding with a motorcycle before hitting a woman who was crossing the street. The pedestrian sustained minor injuries and declined immediate medical assistance, while the motorcyclist was taken to Santa Rita Hospital with various abrasions and lumbar bleeding.
