Traffic disruptions and fog affect roads in Bosnia and Herzegovina
Morning fog has reduced visibility and caused wet road surfaces in valleys and along riverbeds across various sections of the road network.
Significant traffic disruptions are ongoing due to extensive construction and repair works. On the A-1 motorway, the Kakanj-Lašva section is closed to all vehicles, with traffic redirected to the opposite side of the highway. Additionally, the Golubinja-Nemila sub-section is closed due to the Nemila-Vranduk construction, diverting traffic to the M-17 main road.
Other notable disruptions include: - Slowed traffic at the Klopče tunnel entrance on the A-1 (Zenica south to Zenica north) due to retaining wall repairs. - Traffic on the A-1 Sarajevo zapad-Lepenica section is diverted to the overtaking lane. - Weight restrictions are in place on the Dobro Polje-Miljevina and Jablanica-Blidinje roads, allowing only vehicles up to 3.5 tons. - Bridge expansion work near the Brčko-Bijeljina road has altered traffic patterns, with heavier vehicles being rerouted through Velika Obarska. - Ongoing repairs on the M-1, M-5, and other regional routes are causing alternating traffic flow or single-lane restrictions during daytime hours.
