Traffic disruptions in Vsetín and Mníšek pod Brdy during July 2026

In Vsetín, extensive road repairs began on 1 July 2026, affecting Palacký and Sychrov streets and the bridge over the Bečva River. The Nádražní street remains closed, with the mayor announcing a planned reopening on 30 August. Drivers are warned to exercise extra caution, as the works also impede water‑utility pipelines and limit pedestrian and cyclist pathways.

In Mníšek pod Brdy, the Skalecká pouť scheduled for 17‑19 July 2026 will trigger broad traffic restrictions. The parking lot in front of Albert will be closed, and the F. X. Svobody square will host event programmes, prompting motorists to use alternative streets such as Řevnická and Lhotecká. Bus stops are shifted, and a 300‑metre pedestrian zone near the Lunapark is closed for safety. Organisers apologise for the temporary inconvenience.
