Trafikverket announces new Sydostlänken railway route proposal

Trafikverket has announced a new direction for the Sydostlänken railway project, specifically regarding the new route between Olofström and the Blekinge coast line. On September 16, the agency will present its decision on the chosen track and proposed railway line.

The presentation will include details on how the optimized railway line is intended to be placed within the landscape, its impact on surrounding roads, and how environmental, safety, and residential interests have been considered. Trafikverket is inviting the public to a consultation at the Kulturhuset in Olofström to discuss the proposal and provide feedback before further planning proceeds.
