Trakya tourism officials host Balkan tour operators in Tekirdağ

Tourism representatives and investors from the Trakya region met with seven tour operators from Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia, and Bulgaria in Çorlu, Tekirdağ. The B2B meeting was organized through the coordination of the Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA) and the Trakya Development Agency.

The program focused on promoting culture, gastronomy, and nature tourism. Participants visited Edirne, Kırklareli, and Tekirdağ to experience the historical and natural assets of the region. The initiative aims to increase Trakya’s visibility in Balkan markets and develop new commercial collaborations.

During the meetings, 80 local industry representatives, including travel agencies and accommodation providers, engaged with the international operators to discuss new tour programs. Officials emphasized the region's strategic proximity to Istanbul and Europe as key advantages for tourism growth.
