Tramontano family seeks justice following fraud conviction in Giulia Tramontano case

Chiara Tramontano, sister of Giulia Tramontano, has spoken out regarding the ongoing struggle to preserve her sister's memory following her 2023 murder. In a recent interview, Chiara discussed the emotional toll of the crime and her efforts to prevent Giulia from being forgotten, noting that she authored a book titled ‘Non smetterò mai di cercarti’ to document the tragedy.

In a separate legal development, a court has convicted Laura Ciuladaite, the sister-in-law of Giulia’s killer, Alessandro Impagnatiello, for fraud. Ciuladaite was found to have purchased the Volkswagen T-Roc used by Impagnatiello to transport the victim's body in an attempt to shield the asset from being used to pay court-ordered damages to the Tramontano family.

As a result of the fraud, the court ordered Ciuladaite to pay approximately 25,000 euros in compensation to the Tramontano family. Chiara Tramontano expressed her indignation on social media regarding the incident, criticizing the attempt to evade financial responsibility toward the victim's relatives.
