The National Company for Road Infrastructure Administration (CNAIR) opened a public consultation from 1 July to 20 July 2026 on action plans to reduce noise from national roads and motorways with traffic exceeding three million vehicle passages per year.

On 6 July 2026, traffic on several sections of DN 7C – Transfăgărășan will be closed for the “Turul Ciclist al Sibiului” and a private car photo‑video session, with police urging drivers to avoid the route.

The county road DJ 763 linking Padiș to Ic Ponor remains closed from 10 July 2023 until 1 December 2026 for a modernization project worth 81.6 million lei aimed at improving tourist access in the Apuseni Natural Park.

From 7 July 2026, about 17 km of the A10 Sebeș‑Turda motorway (kilometres 52+800 to 70+000) will be closed after a surface collapse and slope instability; the Transport Ministry has asked CNAIR for a detailed explanation and remedial plan.

The A3 segment between Poarta Sălajului and Zimbor is expected to open in July 2026, three years behind schedule, after civil‑engineering works and new viaducts are completed.
