Ángel Guerrero Carrillo detained in Jalisco for drug trafficking to Washington

Mexican federal authorities, including the Navy (Semar) and the Attorney General's Office (FGR), detained Ángel Guerrero Carrillo, known as 'Canguro', in Zapopan, Jalisco. Guerrero Carrillo is identified as a logistics operator for the Chapo Isidro faction of the Beltrán Leyva Cartel.

According to intelligence shared between Mexico and the United States, the suspect was responsible for coordinating the transport, distribution, and sale of synthetic drugs, including methamphetamine and fentanyl, in Seattle and Tacoma, Washington.

During the coordinated operation, authorities seized a firearm, ammunition, various doses of narcotics, and cash. The suspect and the seized items have been placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry for further legal proceedings.
