TransNusa launches direct Bali‑Phuket flight, expanding Indonesian hub

TransNusa announced a new direct scheduled service between Bali, Indonesia and Phuket, Thailand. The Bali‑Phuket route operates four times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday) on Airbus A320 aircraft with 174 seats. Flight 8B 541 departs Bali’s I Gusti Ngurah International Airport at 08:50 and arrives in Phuket at 11:50; the return flight 8B 542 leaves Phuket at 13:50 and lands in Bali at 18:50. Tickets have been on sale since 3 July 2026 and are priced from US$167.60, available through the airline’s website or online travel agencies.

The airline says the new service is intended to boost tourism and strengthen economic and cultural ties between Indonesia and Thailand, while reinforcing Bali as a regional hub. The launch follows a recently announced Jakarta‑Bangkok route and is part of TransNusa’s plan to add further international and domestic routes before the end of 2026.
