Transport sector events in Brazil: job fair in Fortaleza and driver celebration in Rio Grande do Sul

The SEST SENAT will host the "Feira Emprega Transporte" on 4 August 2026 at Shopping RioMar Kennedy in Fortaleza. The free event will bring together companies from various sectors, allowing job seekers to submit resumes, attend interviews and speak directly with recruiters. Organisers expect hundreds of candidates and aim to strengthen employment opportunities in the state of Ceará.

The SETCERGS (Sindicato das Empresas de Transportes de Carga e Logística do Rio Grande do Sul) organized the "Arraiá do Motorista" on 1 August 2026 at OCEPORTO in Porto Alegre to celebrate Driver’s Day. The free celebration featured live music, traditional food and games, and encouraged participants to donate one kilogram of non‑perishable food or a coat for vulnerable families. The event highlighted the importance of professional drivers to the national economy and promoted community solidarity.
