Trapani ranked first in Italy for tourist experience quality

Trapani has been ranked first in Italy for the quality and variety of tourist experiences offered to visitors. The recognition was awarded to the Sicilian Region as part of the Premi Italia Destinazione Digitale 2026, presented on October 14 at the TTG Travel Experience in Rimini.

The ranking highlights the territory's ability to provide diverse offerings beyond traditional seaside tourism, including culture, nature, traditions, and gastronomy. The award specifically recognizes the accessibility and digital promotion of local activities that can be purchased online.

The 11th edition of the awards utilized the Data Appeal Mabrian integrated platform, which employs artificial intelligence to analyze various data sources such as online reviews, connectivity, demand, and pricing. Trapani secured the top national position, followed by Enna in second place and Messina in third. The achievement also underscores the efforts of the Western Sicily Tourist District in identifying and promoting local experiences.
