TRATON and Randoncorp expand heavy vehicle and logistics operations

TRATON Group is expanding its presence in the Brazilian heavy vehicle rental market. Through Volkswagen Caminhões e Ônibus, the VW Truck Rental program, operated by LM Mobilidade, has reached over 8,000 vehicles in circulation. This represents approximately 16% of the national fleet owned by rental companies in Brazil. The program offers long-term contracts including maintenance, assistance, and fleet management services for various models, including heavy-duty trucks for the agribusiness and construction sectors.

Simultaneously, Brazilian company Randoncorp is strengthening its international presence through Hercules Chassis in the United States. Since its acquisition in 2023, the New Jersey-based manufacturer has seen more than 11,000 container chassis units in circulation across the U.S. market. Randoncorp has secured contracts with major logistics operators, including those managing significant port complexes on the East Coast, as part of its strategic internationalization efforts.
