Trendyol drives Turkish SMEs' e‑export expansion

Trendyol partnered with the Keşan Chamber of Commerce and Industry to host a seminar on e‑commerce and e‑export, offering Turkish small and medium‑sized enterprises (SMEs) practical guidance on digital sales strategies, marketplace dynamics, customer experience and international market opportunities.

The platform supports more than 250,000 local producers, artisans and SMEs, enabling daily shipments of over 200,000 products abroad and generating e‑export sales that exceeded $1.5 billion last year. Trendyol’s e‑export network now reaches 35 countries and its AI‑driven tools—including a large‑language model that creates multilingual product descriptions and a digital assistant for advertising decisions—have accelerated product listing times by about 60 % and logistics efficiency by 20 %.

A case in point is the children’s clothing brand Magu, founded in Uşak. After opening a store on Trendyol during the pandemic, the brand expanded rapidly, entering multiple overseas markets and turning a small family shop into a global label thanks to the platform’s training programmes and technology.
