Trendyol Süper Lig referee stats and disciplinary referrals released

Following the first six weeks of the Trendyol Süper Lig, the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has released data regarding referee performance and disciplinary actions.

In terms of officiating, Batuhan Kolak, Yasin Kol, Halil Umut Meler, and Atilla Karaoğlan have each officiated four matches. Ali Şansalan recorded the highest number of yellow cards with 23, while Batuhan Kolak issued the most red cards. The league also utilized 10 foreign Video Assistant Referees (VAR).

Simultaneously, the TFF Legal Consultancy has referred several clubs and individuals to the Professional Football Disciplinary Board (PFDK). Arca Çorum FK was referred due to ugly and bad chanting and statements made by club official Savaş Balçık. Trabzonspor A.Ş. was referred for chanting, field incidents, and violations of instructions, while club president Ertuğrul Doğan was referred for statements deemed damaging to the reputation of football. Galatasaray A.Ş. was also referred following the match against Trabzonspor due to chanting.
