Tiramisù World Cup winners crowned in Treviso
The tenth edition of the Tiramisù World Cup has concluded in Treviso, Italy, featuring 320 contestants representing 33 different nations. The competition was divided into two main categories: the original recipe and a creative recipe.
Marcos Muzzi, a beekeeper from São Paulo, Brazil, won the original recipe category by adhering to the traditional six base ingredients. Ciro Tomassini from Italy secured the victory in the creative category with a unique preparation featuring raspberry compote, white chocolate, and lemon honey, designed in the shape of a beehive.
The event, organized by Francesco Redi, included a jury of 130 tasters. Organizers noted that the competition serves as a cultural and economic tool to promote the Treviso and Veneto regions through its world-famous dessert.
