Trại Buôn Người film set for release in September 2026

The Vietnamese film project “Trại Buôn Người” (The Journey Of Heroes) has officially announced its nationwide release date for September 25, 2026. The announcement follows several delays, including a previously planned release during the September 2nd holiday, which was postponed to allow for additional filming and extensive visual effects (VFX) work.

The film’s first trailer has been released, showcasing a large-scale survival story involving over 700 actors portraying victims trapped in a massive, isolated factory setting. The plot explores a brutal criminal network described as a “giant scamming machine” located in an unspecified part of the world, where individuals are forced into a desperate fight for survival.

The production involved five years of development, including three years for scriptwriting and two years for filming and post-production. The cast features Steven Nguyễn in the lead role, supported by veteran actors such as Quách Ngọc Ngoan, NSND Như Quỳnh, and Võ Thành Tâm.
