Trinasolar expands solar footprint with projects in China and Australia

Trinasolar has completed several solar energy installations in China and Australia. In China, the company supplied 1 GW of Vertex N TOPCon modules for the 3 GW Jiuduntan PV desert-control demonstration project in Gansu province. Located in the Tengger Desert, this RMB 9.1 billion project integrates solar power with ecological restoration by using straw checkerboard sand barriers and drought-tolerant vegetation. The project aims to generate approximately 5 billion kWh annually while managing desertification across 47 km².

In Australia, Trinasolar provided 200 Vertex S+ 500W modules for a 100 kW rooftop solar system at the National Wine Centre in Adelaide, South Australia. The installation, managed by Venergy Solar, utilized lightweight n-type i-TOPCon technology to accommodate complex roof geometries while maintaining the venue's visual character and operational continuity. The project supports the center's sustainability and energy efficiency goals.
