Trinasolar solar energy project expansions
Overview
Trinasolar has completed significant solar energy projects in China and Australia. In China, the company supplied 1 GW of Vertex N TOPCon modules for the 3 GW Jiuduntan PV desert-control demonstration project in Gansu province. This RMB 9.1 billion initiative in the Tengger Desert combines solar power with ecological restoration to manage desertification across 47 km².
In Australia, Trinasolar provided 200 Vertex S+ 500W modules for a 100 kW rooftop solar system at the National Wine Centre in Adelaide, South Australia. Managed by Venergy Solar, the installation utilized lightweight n-type i-TOPCon technology to fit complex roof geometries while preserving the venue’s visual character and allowing for uninterrupted operations.
