Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha reviews law and order, public services

Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha chaired a virtual Task Monitoring System meeting, reviewing law and order, healthcare, infrastructure and other public‑welfare initiatives across the state. Senior officials, including district magistrates, superintendents of police and departmental secretaries, briefed the CM on ongoing projects and implementation progress.

Saha highlighted a significant drop in school drop‑outs and announced the distribution of about 41,800 bicycles to students, aiming to improve attendance and encourage girls’ education. He linked these measures to broader state development goals and the central government’s vision.

The chief minister also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, citing the Act East Policy, recent NITI Aayog engagement with North‑Eastern states, and a three‑day public‑welfare camp that showcased central and state projects such as Digital India, Startup India and health‑insurance coverage. Saha positioned Tripura’s growth as part of a coordinated national development effort.
