Tripura CM Manik Saha Announces Urban Development Plans for Agartala

Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha said the state will build modern cities and villages to create a developed Tripura, focusing on Agartala's transformation into a smart, clean, green and technology‑driven urban hub. Speaking at the inauguration of several civic projects under the Agartala Smart City Mission, he stressed the need for transparent, accountable governance and the rapid delivery of digital public services across municipal areas.

Saha highlighted infrastructure upgrades, citizen‑friendly reforms and direct benefits to residents, while accusing opposition parties of spreading misinformation and obstructing development work.
