Tripura CM Manik Saha Launches 15 Development Projects in Dhalai District

Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha virtually inaugurated 15 development projects in the Dhalai district, aiming to improve socio‑economic conditions. The initiatives include the renovation of Ambassa Degree College, construction of new school buildings for Kamalpur English Medium and Salema Class XII schools, additional classrooms, a library, a laboratory, two Anganwadi centres, a box culvert, three concrete roads, a paver‑block road, two brick‑paved roads, the foundation stone for Salema Primary Health Centre, and a bridge at Shantirbazar.

Saha said the projects are part of broader state efforts under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s guidance, highlighting programs such as Smart Class, Nipun Tripura, bicycle distribution for girls, and the construction of 21 Eklavya Model Schools for tribal students. He also noted improvements in health services through national schemes and the formation of 55,000 self‑help groups benefiting over 500,000 women. The state government has reportedly received 350 national awards for its work.
