Triumph launches Bonneville T40 retro motorcycle series

Triumph has introduced the Bonneville T40 and T40 Black, expanding its 400cc platform to seven models. These new motorcycles aim to make the classic Bonneville heritage more accessible by offering a mid-range, practical option compared to the heavier and more expensive high-capacity models.

The T40 features a design inspired by 1960s roadsters, including a teardrop fuel tank with hand-painted pinstripes, 18-inch front and 17-inch rear aluminum rim spoked wheels, and a round LED headlight with integrated daytime running lights. To maintain a classic aesthetic, the bike utilizes traditional 43mm telescopic front forks and dual rear spring shock absorbers instead of modern monoshocks.

Designed for accessibility, the motorcycle has a wet weight of 191 kg and a standard seat height of 790 mm, with an option to lower it to 770 mm.
