Triumph launches Tracker 400 and Thruxton 400 motorcycles
Triumph has introduced two new 400 cc motorcycles – the Tracker 400 and the Thruxton 400 – both powered by the updated 398 cc TR‑Series single‑cylinder engine that delivers 42 PS at 9,000 rpm and 37.5 Nm at 7,500 rpm. The models feature ride‑by‑wire throttle, six‑speed transmission, dual‑channel ABS, traction control and a torque‑assist clutch.
The Tracker 400 is styled after flat‑track racers, with a wider handlebar, upright riding position, USD 43 mm front fork, Pirelli MT60 RS tires and distinctive flat‑track graphics. It is priced at about RM27,900 in Malaysia. The Thruxton 400 adopts a classic café‑racer look, with LED round headlamp, sculpted fuel tank, bullet‑style seat cowl, clip‑on handlebars, and a lightweight chassis weighing 176 kg. It is offered in Japan for ¥849,900 across four colour schemes.
