Triumph expands lineup, adds Speed Twin 1200 TFC

Entities: Thruxton 400 · Tracker 400 · Triumph Motorcycles · Triumph Motorcycles Ltd

Overview

Following the July 23 announcement of the limited‑edition Speed Twin 1200 TFC, Triumph confirmed the 750‑unit production cap, with only 15 allocated to Spain and first deliveries slated for October 2026. A week later, at the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show, the company expanded its 400 cc range by unveiling the Thruxton 400 café‑racer and the Tracker 400 flat‑track model, both priced around Rp180 million. These additions join the existing Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 variants, further strengthening Triumph’s presence in the growing 350‑450 cc segment.

In late July, Triumph detailed the technical specs of the new 400‑series: both bikes use an updated 398 cc TR‑Series single‑cylinder engine (42 PS, 37.5 Nm) with ride‑by‑wire throttle, six‑speed gearbox, dual‑channel ABS, traction control and a torque‑assist clutch. The Tracker 400, styled for flat‑track racing, is offered in Malaysia for about RM27,900, while the Thruxton 400 is sold in Japan for ¥849,900 across four colour schemes.

June 2026 Indian sales data showed the Tracker 400 selling 4,692 units, ranking fifth in the 350‑450 cc segment and contributing to a 44 % year‑on‑year growth driven largely by Royal Enfield but supported by Triumph’s new offerings. The company continues to push the expanded lineup across markets, with Speed Twin 1200 TFC deliveries expected in October and the newly launched 400‑series models targeting Indonesia, India, Malaysia, Japan and other emerging markets.
