Triumph Motorcycles unveils Bonneville T40 and announces 2027 product roadmap
Triumph Motorcycles has announced an extensive product rollout for the 2027 model year, beginning with the unveiling of the Bonneville T40 and T40 Black. These new 400cc models bring the iconic Bonneville heritage to a more accessible segment, featuring a liquid-cooled TR Series single-cylinder engine developed in partnership with Bajaj. The T40 models combine 1960s-inspired aesthetics, such as teardrop tanks and spoked wheels, with modern technology including cruise control, cornering ABS, and a 4-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity.
Following the Bonneville launch, Triumph plans to reveal three additional major models through late 2026. The Tiger 1200 is scheduled for unveiling on October 27, 2026, promising an updated 1200cc three-cylinder engine and a highly sophisticated suspension system. The Street Triple 798 will be presented on November 17, 2026, utilizing a powerplant developed for the 2027 Moto2 championship. The rollout will conclude with the Tiger 900 on December 15, 2026, which is expected to feature enhanced connectivity and rider aids.
In markets like India, bookings for the Bonneville T40 and T4 have already opened, with the T40 priced from Rs. 2.8 lakh and the T4 from Rs. 2.55 lakh. Deliveries for the T40 are expected to begin in November 2026, while the T4 is slated for January 2027.
