Türkiye imposes anti-dumping duties on Chinese solar junction boxes

Türkiye’s Ministry of Trade has finalized an anti-dumping investigation into junction boxes used in solar panels originating from China. The decision imposes definitive duties on these specific components to protect domestic production from alleged unfair pricing practices.

Under the new regulation, five specific Chinese manufacturers—Zhejiang Twinsel Electronic Technology, Risen Ningbo New Material, QC Solar Suzhou, QC Solar JiangSu, and Zhejiang Chint Xinhui PV—will face an anti-dumping duty of 38.23% of the CIF value. Other Chinese manufacturers not included in this specific list will be subject to a higher duty rate of 57.11%.

The measure specifically targets the junction boxes that provide electrical connections for solar panels rather than the complete solar panel units themselves. The investigation, which began in May 2025, concluded that imports from China were being dumped, causing injury to the local manufacturing industry.
