Türkiye Real Sector Confidence Index rises slightly in September
The Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye reported that the seasonally adjusted Real Sector Confidence Index (RKGE-MA) rose by 0.1 points to 102.5 in September 2026. While the index saw a slight increase, the non-seasonally adjusted version fell by 0.8 points to 102.0.
Key drivers for the index included positive assessments regarding general trends, current total orders, and employment expectations for the next three months. Conversely, the index was weighed down by expectations for export orders, current finished goods stocks, fixed capital investment expenditures, and production volume for the upcoming three-month period.
In the manufacturing sector, production volume and export order expectations showed signs of weakening. Additionally, expectations for fixed capital investment over the next 12 months declined. However, employment expectations for the next three months strengthened. Regarding costs, there was an increase in both reported unit costs over the last three months and expectations for cost increases in the next three months. The annual Producer Price Index (PPI) expectation for the end of the 12-month period decreased by 0.2 points to 31.0 percent.
