Trnava Self-Governing Region announces budget and sustainability initiatives

The Trnava Self-Governing Region (TTSK) has launched the 8th edition of its participatory budget, allocating 150,000 EUR to support local community projects. Citizens, civic associations, and non-profit organizations can apply for funding of up to 7,000 EUR per project to improve their surroundings. The deadline for submitting project proposals is September 20, 2026.

Additionally, the region will host the 3rd annual Sustainability Days on October 14–15, 2026, at the Creative Center in Trnava. The event focuses on ecological sustainability and the circular economy, featuring a Sustainability Academy with expert speakers, a slow fashion show, and an ecological art competition. Proceeds from the event's charity bazaar will be donated via the DAR Foundation to assist families in difficult life situations.
