Troy Jackson named Maine Democratic Senate nominee

Following the withdrawal of Democratic Senate nominee Graham Platner due to various controversies, Maine Democrats have nominated Troy Jackson to challenge incumbent Senator Susan Collins. Jackson, the former president of the Maine Senate, is running on a progressive populist platform that includes calls for taxes on the wealthy and “Medicare for All.”
