Troy Parrott aids Real Betis in debut win against Valencia

Troy Parrott made a successful La Liga debut for Real Betis, contributing to a 1-0 away victory against Valencia at the Mestalla Stadium. The Irish international, who joined Betis in a deal worth approximately €20 million, entered the match as a substitute in the 71st minute, replacing Cucho Hernandez.

Parrott played a pivotal role in the winning goal, which occurred seven minutes before the end of the match. Following a Valencia corner, Parrott helped initiate a counter-attack from the midfield, providing the build-up play that allowed substitute Pablo Garcia to score with a left-footed finish.

With this result, Real Betis maintains a perfect start to the season with two wins from two matches, placing them second in the La Liga standings, trailing Sevilla on goal difference.
