Troy Parrott makes impact at Real Betis ahead of Champions League

Real Betis forward Troy Parrott has made an immediate impact following his move from AZ Alkmaar. Making his La Liga debut in a 1-0 victory against Valencia, Parrott was involved in the build-up to the winning goal scored by Pablo García.

Manager Manuel Pellegrini praised the striker’s movement off the ball and natural scoring instinct, noting these qualities were key factors in the club's decision to sign him. Parrott, who scored 31 goals in all competitions last season, is expected to be a significant asset for the Spanish side.

Following the club's recent success, Real Betis has been drawn into a challenging Champions League group stage. Parrott will experience his first Champions League campaign facing opponents including Arsenal, Porto, Feyenoord, Como, Bayern Munich, and Borussia Dortmund.
