Três Lagoas announces tax relief and exemption programs

The Municipality of Três Lagoas has launched two distinct fiscal programs to assist residents and businesses with tax obligations.

The “Facilita ISS Três Lagoas” program allows for the regularization of Service Tax (ISS) debts incurred up to July 31, 2026. For lump-sum payments, the municipality is offering a 100% discount on interest and late fees. For installment plans, taxpayers can receive a 70% discount on interest and fines. Debts up to R$ 99,999.99 can be paid in up to 12 installments, while larger debts can be spread over 24 months. The deadline to join this program is December 15, 2026.

Additionally, the city has opened the application period for 2027 Property Tax (IPTU) exemptions. General eligibility applies to owners of single, low-income residences up to 80m² (or 90m² for retirees/pensioners) with a family income of up to two minimum wages; applications for this group must be submitted by December 18, 2026. Specific exemptions are available for individuals with serious illnesses, such as Parkinson's or multiple sclerosis, with a deadline of March 31, 2027. Those with cancer may apply at any time throughout 2027, provided they meet specific income and property requirements.
