Três Lagoas: Woman dies after police shooting during intervention

Thaís Eduarda Souza Rossi, an 18-year-old known as ‘Talissinha do PCC’, died on Sunday morning following a police intervention in Três Lagoas, Mato Grosso do Sul. The incident occurred at the Pardal condominium after reports that Rossi was acting erratically and threatening a neighbor with a knife.

According to preliminary reports from the Military Police, a Tactical Force team responded to the call. During the intervention, Rossi allegedly advanced toward officers while armed with a knife. Police stated they fired shots to repel the aggression. Although officers provided first aid and transported her to Hospital Auxiliadora, she succumbed to her injuries shortly after arrival.

Investigators noted that Rossi was allegedly affiliated with the criminal organization PCC (Primeiro Comando do Capital) and frequently posted images of weapons and drugs on social media. The apartment where she resided had been the subject of frequent drug trafficking reports. Authorities are investigating whether she was under the influence of narcotics at the time of the incident.
