Police confrontation in Três Lagoas

In Três Lagoas, Mato Grosso do Sul, an 18-year-old woman identified as Thaís Eduarda Souza Rossi, also known as ‘Talissinha do PCC’, died following a confrontation with the Military Police Força Tática.

The incident occurred at the Pardal condominium after reports that Rossi was acting erratically and threatening a neighbor with a knife. Police reports indicate that Rossi advanced toward officers while armed with a knife, prompting them to discharge shots to repel the aggression. Despite receiving first aid and being transported to Hospital Auxiliadora, she succumbed to her injuries.

Investigations revealed that Rossi was allegedly affiliated with the criminal organization Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC) and frequently posted images of weapons and drugs on social media. Her residence had been the subject of frequent drug trafficking reports. Authorities are currently investigating the dynamics of the intervention and whether Rossi was under the influence of narcotics at the time of the incident. A 15-year-old male accomplice was also apprehended following the confrontation.
