Truck fire destroys vehicle on Serrinha climb in Cubatão

A dump truck loaded with stones caught fire on Wednesday afternoon on the Rodovia Cônego Domenico Rangoni, specifically at the Serrinha climb in Cubatão, São Paulo.

The Fire Department responded to the call around 2:10 p.m., deploying a vehicle with three agents to combat the flames. The fire completely destroyed the vehicle. No victims were reported. An Ecovias water truck assisted firefighters in controlling the blaze.

Following the incident, the area was left under the responsibility of concessionaire teams and the Federal Highway Police (PRF). Traffic remained slow as vehicles were restricted to a single lane during the operation. Authorities are investigating the causes and dynamics of the fire.
