Trujillo massacre investigation faces new evidence of police misconduct

New evidence has emerged regarding the quadruple murder and kidnapping of Jenns Lara in Trujillo on August 30. Recent footage reportedly shows individuals with physical builds and heights that do not match the suspects previously detained by the Peruvian National Police (PNP).

The PNP had previously identified four short-statured individuals, allegedly members of the Los Pulpos gang, as the perpetrators. However, new images suggest the actual attackers may have been a highly trained group consisting of a police officer and professional hitmen, potentially using specialized tactical movements and specific vehicle types.

This development challenges the official version provided by police leadership and government officials, suggesting that the previous arrests may have been an attempt to falsely attribute the crime to Los Pulpos due to ongoing gang conflicts.
