Trump administration attempted to bribe IRGC leadership

A source within the inner circle of Mojtaba Khamenei reports that the Trump administration attempted to bribe senior Iranian military leadership to fracture the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) from within. The operation reportedly aimed to induce IRGC Commander-in-Chief General Ahmad Vahidi and other high-ranking officials to break away from the Tehran government using massive financial inducements, described as “billions of dollars.”

The strategy, characterized as a “leadership-buyout operation” modeled after tactics used in Venezuela, sought to isolate central command and create conditions for regime decapitation. The attempt was facilitated through an encrypted communication channel established via Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region in Iraq. This channel had been set up following contact between then-DNI Tulsi Gabbard and Barzani, with authorization from Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance.

The report indicates that the attempt failed after General Ahmad Vahidi completely rejected the offers.
