Trump memecoin team announces November gala for top investors
The team behind President Donald Trump’s $TRUMP memecoin has announced a third exclusive gala dinner scheduled for November 22 at the Trump National Golf Club in Washington, D.C. The event is designed to reward the token’s largest holders, with attendance determined by a scoring system based on holdings and duration between September 30 and a November 12 snapshot.
According to promotional materials, the top 185 holders will qualify for the dinner, which will feature Trump and three unnamed guests described as “legends.” The top 29 holders will receive access to a VIP reception, and the top four will be awarded 18-karat gold Trump-branded watches. Organizers have specified that no attendees will be granted private meet-and-greet sessions with the President.
The announcement has drawn renewed criticism from ethics watchdogs and Democratic lawmakers, who characterize such events as “pay-to-play” schemes that offer political access in exchange for cryptocurrency investment. This follows previous gatherings in 2025 and early 2026. Financial disclosures indicate Trump has earned substantial sums from his crypto ventures, while watchdog group Public Citizen estimates that investors in his related crypto products have lost approximately $4.7 billion.
