Trump says IAEA inspectors will visit Iran in due time

U.S. President Donald Trump told reporters that International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors will travel to Iran to examine the country's nuclear facilities, but there is no rush. He said, “Uygun zamanda, acele etmeye gerek yok,” emphasizing that the visit will occur at an appropriate moment.

Trump added that the United States has no plan for a new inspection of Iran’s nuclear sites and that any such mission would be based on established agreements, not on an urgent timetable. Iranian officials, through a statement from the foreign ministry spokesperson, rejected the claim, saying Iran has not accepted IAEA inspections and that no meetings with IAEA head Rafael Grossi have taken place. The exchange reflects ongoing diplomatic friction over the 2015 Iran nuclear deal and the broader U.S.–Iran relationship.
