Stephen Miller, the White House Deputy Chief of Staff, stated that the practice of birth tourism is "hereby banned" and that no one is permitted to obtain a visa for this purpose. However, legal experts anticipate significant challenges, noting that the Supreme Court has previously upheld the broad protections of the 14th Amendment. The administration intends to use these orders to expand existing legal exceptions to ensure the integrity of the immigration system.
