Trump vows forceful response to Iranian missile attacks

President Donald Trump has vowed to respond ‘with force’ to recent Iranian missile attacks targeting United States interests in the Middle East. Speaking to Fox News, Trump stated that there ‘will be a response’ following the strikes.

The escalation follows a U.S. strike on Iranian targets at Larak Island in the Strait of Hormuz. In retaliation, Iran launched missiles at U.S. bases located in Jordan and the United Arab Emirates. Trump noted that, with one exception, all launched missiles were intercepted, minimizing the immediate threat to American forces.

In a statement on Truth Social, Trump characterized Iran as a ‘failed nation’ experiencing ‘total chaos,’ citing extreme inflation and a lack of military and economic stability. He further accused the Iranian leadership of war crimes and domestic repression.
