Trump warns Iran of continued pressure as he previews Xi's visit to the U.S

U.S. President Donald Trump told an audience at the Environmental Protection Agency that the United States is maintaining a strong stance toward the Islamic Republic of Iran, saying “our situation with Iran is very good” and that the regime is “malicious” and not yet ready for a nuclear weapon. He warned that Iran must continue to see the same treatment and that the United States will not allow Tehran to acquire nuclear capability.

During the same remarks, Trump announced that Chinese President Xi Jinping is scheduled to visit Washington on September 24, indicating that the two leaders will devote significant time to artificial‑intelligence cooperation. Trump claimed the U.S. is ahead of China in the AI race and highlighted upcoming high‑tech infrastructure projects.
