Trump's Gaza peacekeeping plan collapses as troop commitment shrinks to a few dozen

U.S. President Donald Trump's proposal for a 20,000‑person multinational peacekeeping force in post‑genocide Gaza has faltered, with the International Stabilization Force now able to field only an initial group of 10‑20 troops. Only Morocco, Albania, Kosovo and Kazakhstan have confirmed contributions, and Morocco’s deployment has been delayed; the troops will first be stationed at a logistics hub near the Kerem Shalom crossing before any entry into Gaza.

Regional instability, the ongoing US‑Israeli war against Iran, and suspensions by countries such as Indonesia have eroded support.
