TSV 1860 München defeats FC Memmingen 3-0

TSV 1860 München secured their first victory in the Regionalliga Bayern with a 3-0 away win against league leaders FC Memmingen. The match, played before a sold-out crowd of 5,000 spectators, saw the ‘Lions’ overcome recent organizational challenges following a forced relegation and insolvency in June.

Florian Niederlechner opened the scoring in the 12th minute. Lance Fiedler doubled the lead in the 56th minute, and Michael Eberwein sealed the victory in the 89th minute. Despite the scoreline, Memmingen coach Matthias Günes noted that his team was not clearly outplayed structurally, attributing the loss to the efficiency and clinical finishing of the experienced Munich side.
